What Options Do I Have for the Ashes of My Deceased Relative?

You’ll have lots of options. You can scatter their ashes, you can take the urn home and put it on display, you can bury the urn in a cemetery or on private property, you can get cremation jewelry made, you can store the urn in a columbarium, and you can do other things. If you want some more ideas, you can ask the funeral director. They’ll give you more options to consider.

How Long Does a Cremation Usually Take?

Depending on the size of the individual, it will usually take a few hours. The inside of the cremation chamber will generate very high heat, and this heat will do most of the work.
