Albert William Kusch

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albert William Kusch, born February 27, 1929, in Wakaw, SK. Albert passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Saskatoon RUH Hospital. 

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Elisa; son Kelvin (Norma) and their children, Marissa (Dallas) Hoffman and their children Hayz, Hudson, and Shanelle Kusch; daughter Laurel (Lawrence) Bremner and their children Kelsey (Eric) Hoey and their son Kydin, and Corey (Melissa) Bremner and their children Luke and Norah; sisters Rita Turcotte and Ida LeSaan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his parents Albert Patrick and Maria (Georget) Kusch; siblings Flora (Arthur) Tallifer, Agnes (Joe) Tessier, Joe (Eva) Kusch, Ernest (Yvonne) Kusch, Yvonne Kusch, Alice Kusch in infancy; brother-in-laws Arthur Tallifer, Joe Turcotte and Henry LeSaan. 

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and aides for the compassionate care during his brief stay at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. We would like to also thank the staff and support workers and management at Prairie Meadows Assisted Living in Rosthern for their years of care and friendship. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., at the Ste Jeanne d'Arc Parish in Domremy, SK.
