Annie Florizone

It is with great love that we say ‘til later to our dear mom, grandma, sister, and friend, Annie Florizone (née Kirtzinger), of Saskatoon, who passed away contented and peaceful at the age of 89.

She is lovingly remembered by her son Dave (Doris); daughters Janice (Ken), Carol, and Leona (Ray); sister Angeline and, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Florizone; son Ron; parents, Martin and Clementine Kirtzinger; brothers Lambert, Harold, Delmer and, Richard; and sisters Evelyn and Rosemarie.

Mom grew up in Bremen, Saskatchewan, married Dad in 1955, and moved to Saskatoon when their children were little. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She had a vibrant and peaceful disposition, and her passions were her children and her love of Jesus.

Mom’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Holy Spirit Parish (114 Kingsmere Pl., Saskatoon).

Memorial donations may be made in Annie’s name to a charity of your choice or a Holy Mass for her intentions. 

We wish to thank the residents and staff of St. Ann’s Nursing Home for providing Mom with a loving, nurturing, happy, and faith-filled home. 

Her gentle spirit will be greatly missed.
Through the mercy of God, may she rest in peace.
