It is with sad hearts that we announce Tony’s passing on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the age of 47 years.

Tony was born on June 30, 1974 and lived in Saskatoon SK with his parents Bryan and Doreen Matschke and siblings Trevor, Ann, and Vincent.

Tony always loved nature and the outdoors. At an early age he could be found climbing trees, building forts, rafting on slew holes, and catching gophers. He collected rocks and bird nests, even a vacant wasp nest. We never knew what he might bring home, all kinds of creatures from snakes to tadpoles.

Tony made his living as a handyman. Shingling, eavestroughs, soffits, and facia were his specialty, but hunting and fishing were his passion. He could fry up a meal of fresh fish or a deer steak, even on occasion a pigeon breast.

He leaves six amazing children: Ebony, Anthony, Akina and grandson Eyden, Anika, Akira and Esmeh. All special and unique in their own way.
