Arna Elizabeth Sollid passed away peacefully on August 8, 2022 with her family present at Circle Drive Special Care Home in Saskatoon.

Arna was born on January 19, 1923 in Hagen Saskatchewan to Lars and Lena Njaa.

She was raised with her four siblings on the family farm. In 1950 she married Orvid Sollid. A few years later their family grew with the arrival of twin boys. They farmed in Viscount and moved to Saskatoon in their retirement. Arna‘s coffee pot was always on and there was always a warm welcome!

Arna’s passions were: her relationship with Jesus Christ, her family and extended family, their friends and last but not least horticulture. She enjoyed working outside in her vegetable and flower gardens. Every tree on the farm was planted by them and today it looks like a beautiful park.

Left to cherish her memory are: her sister Norma Haugrud, sisters- in-law Marge Njaa and Gladie Sollid, children David and Daniel (Connie), her grandsons Michael and Jonathan and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Erindale Alliance Church, 310 Perehudoff Crescent, Saskatoon. The service will also be streamed at https://funeraweb.tv/en/diffusions/58885 for those unable to attend in person.

We are thankful to Circle Drive Special Care Home for the kindness and care they provided for our mother.
