Barbara Helen Kokotailo-Adrian

October 5, 1955 — April 12, 2024

Barbara passed away very quietly in her sleep April 12, 2024, at 4:15pm, with her family gathered around her, after a long, hard-fought battle with COPD and pancreatic cancer at the Rose Garden Hospice in Prince Albert. Barb was predeceased by her father, Walter; left to cherish her memory are her mother, Elizabeth, her children Brett, Jerilynn (Dorie), Michael (Courtney) and Jessica, her beloved grandchildren Maxim, Tatum, Aria, Elyse, Asher, and Archer, her brothers Richard (Sheila), Bill (Joan), Raymond (Sharon), Dale (Michelle) and sister Irene (Carl), numerous nieces and nephews, and her husband Les Adrian. Barb also left behind Les’ family of brothers Victor Adrian and Ivan (Bonnie) Adrian and sister Verna (John) Petkau. Barbara was cared for at her home during her illness and only entered hospice one week prior to succumbing.

Barbara attended E.D. Feehan high school in Saskatoon and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Diabetics and Nutrition from the University of Saskatchewan in 1977. In partnership, Barbara owned and operated U&R Taxes in Saskatoon which she sold to follow her new husband, who she married in 1998, in his work as an Engineer. Taking the children along until they got older, Barbara lived in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Ireland and Vietnam. Always excited about travel, Barbara was in over 20 different countries, for both short and extended periods, throughout Europe, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South and Central America with her husband before they retired in 2012 and settled in Candle Lake, Sk. Wherever she lived, her love of children stayed with her; she volunteered at many orphanages along the way, but her thoughts were never far from her own children, who were her first priority no matter where she was.

In lieu of flowers, Barb’s family asks that donations be made to Rose Garden Hospice in Prince Albert.

She will be greatly missed.❤️❤️❤️

Martens Warman Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care and arrangements for Barbara Kokotailo-Adrian.
