Benny Robert Friesen

Ben Friesen passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the age of 70.

Ben is survived by his son Robert Friesen, his three sisters Anna (John) Peters, Kathy Lloyd, Carol (Les) Wilson of Rosthern, SK.; two brothers John (Joyce) Friesen of Burnaby, BC., Don (Sheila) Friesen; half-sister Shelley (Doug) Prokop.

Ben is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews: Debbie Peters, Duane Friesen, Patricia Regehr, Steve (Anne) Peters of Vancouver, BC., Wade (Jessica) Friesen of Port Coquitlam, B.C., Jennifer (Lawrence) Kerman of Pitt Meadows, BC, Eric Friesen, Angee Friesen, Matthew Wilson, Charlee Friesen, Hannah, Lauren & Tess Prokop; and six great nieces and nephews: Connor, Jessa (Mitch), Megan Regehr, Berkeley, Jay Kerman, Nathan Wilson. If not indicated, the majority of his family lives here in Saskatoon.

Ben is predeceased by his parents Henry L. Friesen and Tina Friesen.

Ben was a very hardworking man, whether as a construction contractor or retail businessman. He was truly devoted to his son Robert, as well as always being there for his family and friends whenever they needed a helping hand. He was loved by all and has many friends for decades from youth.
