Bernadette was born in Saskatoon and lived on a farm east of Meacham, until she moved to Saskatoon where she met and married Gilbert in 1959. Bernadette and Gilbert had six children: Annette, Marcel, Maurice, Raymond, Jerome and Colleen. Mom was very devoted to her family, home life and faith. Mom loved cooking and baking, you could almost always find her cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Bernadette loved spending her summers at the cabin with family and many friends playing cards and fishing, along with winters in Arizona visiting with family and friends. In her spare time mom enjoyed crocheting, solving puzzles, playing bingo, watching NASCAR, curling and baseball, planting flowers and watching birds from her deck. Many thanks to the St Paul's hospital palliative care team.
Bernadette’s family is honoured that her nephew Reverend Father John Paul Ouellette will be conducting a mass for Bernadette in Honduras at the same time as the memorial service.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, February 16th, 2024, at St. Mary's Parish in Saskatoon, at 211 Avenue O South. To view the service online go to https://www.faithproductions.ca/livestreams
