Carey Darrin Wahobin

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Carey Darrin Wahobin at the age of 55 years, on June 5, 2023

 

Carey is lovingly survived by his wife Angela Fiddler-Wahobin; children Dalanie “Betty”, Chasity “Rusty”, Brandi “Bunnie” (Donovan Roberts), Patience “Chubby”, Carey Jr “Junior”, Peyton (Sareena) “Baby Poppa”; grandchildren Josie, Jaisley, Jeromy, Jeremy Jr.; adopted children Andrea Watchmaker (and daughters); all the children and young adults that he mentored and his special nieces and nephews from Wahobin side and Fiddler side.

 

He was predeceased by maternal grandparents Adam & Emma Mosquito; Maternal uncle’s Solomon Mosquito; Leonard Mosquito; Roy Mosquito, George Jessie Mosquito; Frank Mosquito; maternal aunts Irene Spyglass, Eva Kingbird, Rose Johnson, Dorothy Armstrong, Elsie Mosquito, Katherine Oxebin; nephews Leighton Wahobin, Anthony Whitstone, niece Jolene Wuttunee; paternal grandparents Joseph & Julia Wahobin, dad Leonard Wahobin; paternal uncles Wilfred Wahobin, Felix Wahobin, Ernest Wahobin; paternal aunts Marie Bird (Wahobin), Lillian Wahobin; brothers Larry Wahobin April 22, 1979; Perry Wahobin March 31, 2021.

 

Wake will begin Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Band Hall, Mosquito First Nation, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, 1:00 p.m., at the Band Hall, Mosquito First Nation, SK. Interment to follow.
