It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, Baba, sister, aunt, and Godmother.

Carol passed away peacefully at home at the age of 76 years, on March 14, 2023.

Carol is dearly remembered by her loving husband of 54 years, Russell Boyko, who she married September 7, 1968.

Her children Julie (Terry) Zaleschuk and Parry Boyko; 3 grandchildren Hannah Zaleschuk, Emily Zaleschuk and Myron Zaleschuk.

Her sister Nadine (Leonard) Prokopchuk and numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Sadie Balion; godchildren Shelly Bilinski and Oksana Prokopchuk-Gauk.

Carol was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Bilinski/Nowselski; brother Johnny Bilinski and sister-in-law Jeannie Bilinski/Poncelet; parents-in-law William and Mary Boyko/Chipurda.

Carol was born on November 5, 1946, in Saskatoon, and was raised on family farm in Prud’homme. Her school journey started at Ozorenko School, then she went to a school in Prud’Hommme, and was educated by nuns.

After graduating school, she attended the Saskatoon Business College and obtained her diploma in accounting. She worked various jobs which included: Mayfair Bakery, Empire Meats, Woolco, Travelodge, Kelsey gas station and then had a daycare, and flea markets on Sundays. After all of these jobs, Carol decided to work for Eternal Memorials as a memorial counsellor.

Carol had many hobbies that she passionately loved; seamstress work, cake decorating, bowling, stacking bales (with the exception of all the mice that came with it), and her wonderful passion for exceptional homemade meals
