Charlie Reddekopp

Charlie Reddekopp, of Hague, Saskatchewan, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 19, 2022. A Private Family Service will be held. Friends and Family are welcome to join us for coffee, refreshments and a relaxed, informal time of fellowship on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Cherished Memories Funeral Chapel Reception Room, 591 Centennial Drive North, Martensville.

Charlie Reddekopp was born to Abe and Jessie on July 28, 1956. Charlie attended Hague School. He grew up on his family farm together with his brother Kel. Besides dairying and grain farming, Charlie also drove school bus and eventually drove semi for Edge Transport. He also operated a Restaurant for a year – that meant he could coffee all day, every day with his friends.

Charlie also drove truck for ASL Paving in Saskatoon for two seasons. After which he was diagnosed in 1999 with MS. This changed his life, but he remained positive throughout 23 years of living with the disease.

Charlie loved his Lord and Savior and spent countless time alone – praying and praising God.

Charlie married his wife Lorraine in 1981. They had 3 wonderful children, James (Monique) – Scott, Leevi and Landon; Jolie (Sheldon) – Emily and Abbi; Lyndon (Austin) – June. He is also survived by his Mom, Jessie and numerous family, relatives and friends.

Charlie was predeceased by his dad Abe Reddekopp; his brother Don; his niece Shauna and brother-in-law Ron. We wait to see Charlie again and we know he is also waiting to be reunited with us.

Arrangements in care of Martens Warman Funeral Home.
