**Chief Lawrence McIntyre**
*August 3, 1956 - August 30, 2024*
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lawrence McIntyre, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend. He leaves his devoted wife, Celina, and cherished children: Jeff (Jenn), Sheena, Nevin (Jamie), Ethan, and Jon (Doree). Lawrence was a proud grandfather to Kenzie, Isaiah, Brynn, Bree, Layke, Joseph, Kobe, Shenita, Mathias, Lincoln, Nevin Jr., and Adelaide.
He is survived by his siblings: Elizabeth, Monique, Margaret, Leonard, Frankie (Serena), Terri (Tom), Gina (Rob), David (Roberta), Larry, and Eva. Lawrence was also dearly loved by his in-laws: Henry (Delores), Richard (Adrienne), Louise (Indian), Hazel (Brown), Margaret (Paul), Shirley (Mark), and Debbie (Richard). His life touched many others, including numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as co-workers and mentors.
Lawrence was predeceased by his parents, Francois McIntyre and Beatrice McIntyre; in-laws, Adelaide Maurice, Mathias Maurice, Linda "Willow" Maurice, Philip Maurice, Mike Wolverine, and Rene McIntyre; and siblings, Max, Gloria, and Veronica. He was also predeceased by his grandparents, Norbert McIntyre, Madeline McIntyre, Judith Maurice, and Max Maurice, along with his godparents, Frank Maurice and Francis Aubichon.
A wake service will be held from September 1 to September 4, 2024, at the School Gym in Patuanak, Saskatchewan. The funeral service will take place at St. Louis Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Father Josi Chinthamalla. Interment will follow at the Patuanak Cemetery.
Lawrence McIntyre will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. May his spirit continue to inspire and guide us.
