It is with saddened hearts that we announce Daniel Osecap passed away on June 5th, 2024, at the age of 65 years. Daniel was born in North Battleford, SK.
Daniel is survived by his children Kashtin Ballantyne, Starr Ballantyne (Taneesha Bellegarde), Daniel Osecap, Dwayne Osecap, Michelle Desjarlais, Lisa Peeteetuce, and Chona Bear; his brothers Edward Osecap and Stanley Osecap; his sister Philomene Sanderson; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife Roseanne Ballantyne; daughter Caroline Ballantyne; grandparents Jose and Marie Osecap & George Myo and Suzanne Bush; his parents Moise and Caroline Osecap; brothers Victor Osecap, Leslie Osecap, Alfred Osecap, and Ned Osecap; sisters Virginia Osecap and Esther Fourstar.
Wake Services will be held June 10th - June 12th, 2024, at the Moosomin First Nation Hall, SK.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at Moosomin First Nation Hall. Interment to be held on Thursday, June 13th, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon, SK.
