Denise is survived by her loving children, her daughter Estelle Grimard-Best (Lucianus Best) and daughter Terlynne McKay, son Richard (Rick) Grimard (Debbie Yeo), their children Zoe (Ryan), Heidi and Roberta Grimard, daughter Yvonne Monks, her children Trevor Monks (Jodi) and children Mason and Brooklyn, Wendy Monks-Janzen (Wade) and children Sophia and Cameron, Sharlene Monks (Joel) and child Millie. Denise was predeceased by her parents, her husband Robert (Bob) in 2021, and their son Gerald in 2019. Denise was born in her parents first homestead in Bapaume on July 20, 1937. Denise was the eldest child, and she therefore was expected to be very responsible at a young age and helped cared for her younger siblings. She met Robert in November 1955, and on July 5, 1958, they were married. Denise was a hard worker and followed her career and education passions to the city. Denise’s love for Robert brought her to Prud’Homme, where they resided and started their family. In 1967, Denise and Robert decided to move to Saskatoon for a better life. Over the years, Denise loved gardening, especially tomatoes, knitting, making bread, canning, and baking, playing cards and sudokus, and spending time with her children, grand and great grandchildren.
