Derrick John Schreiner born on May 22, 1986 in Saskatoon and raised on the acreage between Warman, Sk and Martensville, Sk, passed away on September 25, 2022.
Derrick was survived by his mom Janice Schreiner and Father Glenn (Kim) Schreiner, grandma Elenora Schreiner, siblings Dana (Gwen) Schreiner, Jennifer (Dave) Schreiner, Dustyn (Jenn) Schreiner, nephew and nieces Carson, Ella and Addison and many aunties, uncles, cousins and close family friends. Derrick is predeceased by his grandpa John Schreiner, uncle Rob Schreiner, grandparents Orville and Phillis Frederickson and uncle Dale Frederickson.
Derrick loved driving heavy equipment while working for Globe Excavating, then worked in the oil field.
Derrick had a passion for the outdoors, in the summer months he loved quadding, dirt biking, going fishing with his dad and great uncle Carl and playing the bale game. In the winter months he enjoyed playing hockey and ski doing. Derrick loved to drive anything he could get started (from farm equipment to atv’s). Derrick liked to help on the farm alongside his grandpa, father, brothers and uncles.
The family enjoyed activities such as rollerblading starting at the train bridge and ending at the rotary park stopping for ice cream for a treat afterwards. Many memories were made on the farm that the siblings will always cherish. Derrick had a passion for animals especially dogs.
