It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy-Ann Lasas at the age of 61 years, on November 10th, 2021.
Dorothy-Ann is survived by her husband Norman Martell (Laquan); stepmom: Leona Lapratt; children Stacey Lasas, Austin Lasas (Shari), Derek Lasas, Eldon Lasas (Brice); siblings Yvonne Fiddler, Frank Lapratt (Annette), Virginia Lapratt, Caroline Lasas (Joey), Willy Lasas (Adriane), Colleen Lasas (Darrell), Edith Bouvier (Walter), Pauline Lasas (John), Violet Lapratt, Marjorie Lapratt, Joey Lapratt (Caroline), Cindy Griffis (Bill), Barbara Lapratt and Clifford Lapratt.
She was predeceased by her grandparents Pedro Lasas, Lydia Lasas, Xavier Lapratt and Monique Lapratt; her dad Joe Lapratt, her mom Margaret Lasas; siblings: Lloyd Lasas, Josephine Lasas and Beverly Lapratt; son Skylar Lasas; granddaughter Santara Mistickokat; stepdad Victor Chatelaine; friends Margaret Martell, Irene Blackbird and Louise Martell.
A funeral service was held on November 15th, 2021, at Waterhen Lake First Nation.
