With saddened hearts, the family announces the passing of Edith Marie Anderson (nee Derocher), on October 8^th, 2022, at the age of 91 years, at Meadow Lake, SK.

Edith was born on January 24^th, 1931, at Flying Dust First Nation, SK.

She is survived by her sister Irene Hansen; sons Peter Mazuren, Danny Mazuren (Diane), John Mazuren (Marlene), Tom Anderson (Sharon), Darcy Anderson (Caroline), Jim Anderson (Crystal); daughters Sherri Thompson (Kevin), Naomi Anderson, Shirley Derocher, and Lisa Lambert; as well as her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and all those who loved her.

Edith was predeceased by her husband Hugh Anderson; former husband Peter Mazuren; son Mike Mazuren; daughter-in-law Michelle Mazuren; parents Christine and Daniel Derocher; brothers Joseph, Gabriel, and Alex; sisters Rose, Emelia, Adele, Alice, Lucy, Bella, Marie Yvonne, Marie Hilda, and Josephine; and family members who have passed on.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 12^th, 2022, 4:30 PM, at the Roman Catholic Hall, Meadow Lake, SK. Interment to be held on Flying Dust First Nation, at a later date.
