It is with solemn hearts that we, the Thunderchild Family, announce the passing of our Mother, Elizabeth Annie Thunderchild. Betty Ann, as most had come to know her, was born December 9th, 1953, in Cochrane, Ontario. She passed away August 11th, 2023, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, due to complications with her 10 year battle against Cancer.

She is survived by; her husband (separated) Erwin Thunderchild, her sons Matthew Thunderchild, (Cassandra Bisson), Mark Thunderchild (Amanda Melnychuk), Benjamin Thunderchild, and her daughter Mary Thunderchild (Chad Brocklehurst); her grandchildren (whom she loved dearly), Dominic, Allyanna and Daxson Thunderchild, and Lukas and Grace Bisson, her siblings, Dorothy Smith (Fred), Walter Osmar (Mae), Robert Osmar, Linda Baker (David), and many many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Jessica Thunderchild, her parents, Walter (Leslie) and Margaret Osmar, her brother Dean Osmar, and her sister Brenda Lee Osmar.

She was a beacon of positivity and love to so many, and will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to have met her in this life.

A viewing will be held at Martens Warman Funeral Home, 402 Central Street West, Warman, SK., on Tuesday, August 15^th, 2023, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

A burial service will be held at the Thunderchild First Nations Gravesite on Wednesday, August 16^th, 2023, at 5:30pm

A Church service will also be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Cochrane, ON on August 21^st, 2023.
