Elizabeth "Vicky" Caisse, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 77. Born on April 25, 1947, Vicky was a radiant soul whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Her infectious laughter created an atmosphere of joy, and her unwavering love for her family was a testament to the beautiful life she lived.
Vicky survived by her loving husband, Napoleon "Joe" Caisse, who stood by her side through all of life's journeys. Together, they raised a vibrant family filled with love and cherished memories. Vicky's legacy continues through her daughters Shawna, Leanne, and Victoria Caisse, as well as her sons Darryl, Mervin, and Timothy "Gil" Caisse. She was not only a mother but also a role model, teaching her children the importance of compassion, resilience, and the joy of togetherness.
Vicky shared a special bond with her siblings, Clara Durocher, Pauline (Stan) Hood, and her brother Jimmy (Dorothy) Corrigal. The love between them was evident, woven together with countless memories and a sense of unity that will endure. Her spirit now joins that of her late parents, Etienne and Julienne Corrigal, who instilled in her the values she imparted to her own family.
In addition to her immediate family, Vicky is lovingly remembered by her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her later years. She often spoke of the light they brought into her life, and she treasured each moment spent with them.
Vicky faced great loss in her life, mourning the passing of her son, Travis Caisse, and her siblings—brothers Joseph, Francis, Thomas, and sister Susan. These losses were profound, yet she persevered, embodying strength and grace that inspired those around her.
Vicky also forged lasting friendships that enriched her life. She held dear the companionship of Irene Iron and Nelda Maurice, with whom she shared both laughter and tears, illustrating the depth of her caring nature.
While her earthly presence will be dearly missed, Vicky's love and spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, kindness, and unyielding love that will never be forgotten.
