With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Elmer Hanson, on May 24, 2023.
Celebrating the beautiful life of Elmer Hanson, a wonderful father, even to ones that were not his own, as well as the most amazing husband to Jenna, a love that will forever continue, even on days that may feel the loneliest.
Elmer was predeceased by his grandparents Karl & Carrie, Bill & Wilma, his father Elmer Hanson Sr., step-son Dennis, and nephew Ryan.
He leaves to mourn, his wife Jenna and stepchildren Saleen and Nicholas, daughter Marlana (Joey) and granddaughter Veronica, his mother Eleanor (John), stepdaughter Sylvia, siblings Laurie (Ivor), Judy (Bill), Cindy (Errol), Dale (Mary), as well as several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was born and raised in Delisle on a farm, attended school there and enjoyed playing many sports especially hockey and baseball. He was a drywaller by trade for most of his adult life.
He will be dearly missed and forever in our thoughts and in our hearts.
A graveside service will be held at the Delisle Cemetery on Saturday, June 24, 2023, 11:00 a.m.
