Elza May Aubin

September 4, 1924 — December 21, 2023

Mom passed away peacefully at Porteous Lodge in the special care unit, on December 21, 2023, in the early morning. She was predeceased by her husband Henry, daughter Della, grandson Billy, as well as her siblings Robert Douglas, Florence Segi, Carrie Ranger, and Clarence Douglas. Mom took on many roles during her lifetime. Daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, caregiver (to her father), telephone operator, store clerk, seamstress, landlady, and in home kindergarten teacher. She loved plants and gardening, knitting, sewing, ceramics, various crafts, fishing, a good game of cards, and dad's homemade wine (unless it exploded). Mom had a strong sense of faith and was a servant of Jehovah and a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. In her later years, mom suffered from Dementia and Alzheimers, but always seemed to keep a sense of humor. She is survived by her son Alvin (Edna) Aubin, and her daughter Shelley (Paul) Levenick; seven grandchildren: Alisha Levenick, Lowell Levenick, Barb (Frank) Reindl, Terry Aubin, Holly Schoffer Smith (Rick), April (Kevin) Regnier, Sandra Lee (Heinz); as well as fourteen great grandchildren, and sixteen great-great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Saskatoon, at a later date. Martens Warman Funeral Homes is honored to be entrusted with the care and arrangements for Elza Aubin.

Rest in peace mom, no more pain, no more confusion, no more sorrow. See you in my dreams. XOXOXOXO
