It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Reid (68 years). Eric was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on February 9, 1955.
He was predeceased by his parents Eric and Margaret, his bothers Thomas and Kenneth, and his brother in law Urban.
Eric is survived by his sister Carolyn, his sons Alex (Mia) and Ivan, his nieces/nephews Cindy (Bill), Wes (Corrine), Marceline and great nieces/nephews Jordin, Dylan, Madison and Nathan.
Eric, is also survived by his brothers and sisters in IBEW Local 529, as a 45 year member.
Eric was a passionate supporter of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, enjoyed golf and fishing,and bonfires with friends. He loved camping and snowmobiling.
We welcome all of his friends and family to attend a celebration of life for Eric and wear whatever they feel comfortable in and encourage Roughrider gear. Eric’s celebration of life service will be on Saturday July 22, at 1:00 pm at Cherished Memories Funeral Home at 591 Centennial Drive North, in Martensville with a brief ceremony and an opportunity for others to share stories with Eric’s family, brothers and friends. Snacks and coffee/drinks will be provided.
