Eric was born in Portland Oregon, eldest child of Sanford Carl Yoder and Martha Good, Brother of Christian, Jon, and Lois, Soulmate of Joan, Elizabeth Helmuth, father of Matthew Jon (Amy Bader), and Timothy Ripple (Shauna Matiko) , Grandfather  of Nathaniel James, Nicolas Root, and Aria Bella Joy.

Eric chose to return to Stardom following an illness with myeloma.

Eric inspired many as he passionately pursued in-depth many interests in life; peace, soil science and market gardening, anabaptist history, the arts, creating art, philosophy, neuroscience, geology, evolution.
Eric’s continual questioning resulted in in-depth exploration of his many areas of passionate interest.

His love of many in his community of Rosthern Saskatchewan was demonstrated in his practice of being a servant. He loved sharing his knowledge, letting others go first, giving to others, and living simply and beautifully.
