It is with sadness we announce the passing of Evelyn Forbes, of Saskatoon, at the age of 78 years on Thursday, August 31, 2022. Evelyn is lovingly cherished and remembered by her husband Patrick, her children Sandra Jones of Saskatoon; Keith Jones of Saskatoon; Tim (Connie) Jones of Saskatoon; grandchildren Ryan (Chelsea), Jared (Kendra), Matt (Petra), Cassidy (Sam Klassen); 3 great-grandchildren; and her sister Joyce Whitford (Wayne) of Saskaton. She is also lovingly remembered by Patrick’s children Brent, Mark, Karen and the grandchildren.
Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Abraham and Annie Enns; brothers Ken and Bob; and her sisters Mabel and Shirley.
Some of Evelyn’s favourite places were found on her vacations which included Mexico, Hawaii and California. Evelyn often stated that she was inspired by her children. She has left a loving, caring and generous legacy to her children, grandchildren, step-children and step-grandchildren. Evelyn’s favourite flower was the Lily – the next time you see a Lily, think of Evelyn. A Celebration of Evelyn’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022 in the Chapel of Martens Warman Funeral Home, 402 Central Street West, Warman (parking and entrance on west side).
