With heartfelt sadness, the family announced that on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, Fae Rose Harder, loving daughter, sister, mother, auntie and grandma, passed away peacefully at the age of 70.
Fae was born on November 9, 1951 in Saskatoon. She began her working career at Intercontinental Packers where she was one of the first women to hold a foreman position. Fae had a passion for cooking and loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals and gifts of baking for her family.
She was an avid learner; she loved to read, conquer the latest crossword puzzles, discuss/debate the latest news on CNN, play a competitive game of Kaiser with family and cheer on her beloved Roughriders.
Being a grandmother was the greatest joy of Fae’s life. She was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
Fae was preceded in death by her father, Henry Harder and sister-in-law Jan Harder. She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law Stacy and Heather Harder and the apples of her eye, her grandchildren, Brooklynn and Cole. As well, she leaves to mourn her passing, her beloved mother, Irma Harder and five siblings, Diane (Wayne) Constantinoff, Brenda (Don) Osborne, Calvin (Tracey) Harder, Bonnie (Alan) Hartman, Darryl (Cindy) Harder and families.
She is missed beyond words, and we will carry her forever in our hearts.
At Fae’s request, there will be no service. Martens Warman Funeral Home is honorored to provide care and compassion, for Mrs. Harder and her family, during this time of bereavement.
