Frank Peter Flahr

With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Frank Flahr, on Thursday, February 26, 2025, at the age of 93. 

Frank grew up in Saskatchewan and attended the U of S. He was a teacher for many years and then pursued a career in sales. 

He was a prolific artist who had many interests and had a lifelong dedication to the Catholic Church. He loved to garden and travel. He was a devoted husband and father. 

Frank is predeceased by his wife, Barbara Flahr in 2023; and younger brother Arnold Flahr in 1988.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Susan Jacobucci & husband Duane Gaudry, Greg Flahr, Lois & husband Marc Royer. Grandchildren Jeffrey Sautner, Patrick & wife Lauren Sautner, and Melanie Royer. Great grandchildren Gabriel and Peyton Sautner. Also, his siblings, Phyllis Knorr, Agatha Friesen, and Anne Craig. Along with many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held May 1st, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Paul’s Cathedral, 720 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon, SK, led by Father Steven Penna.
