Frank Merasty, born on September 22, 1944, departed this life on December 23, 2024. He was a man whose presence touched many and whose legacy will endure through his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his children, Karen Bear (George) and Donny Bear (Jennifer). He was a loving father who instilled values of strength and kindness in his children. Frank is also remembered fondly by his sisters, Simone McCallum and Eva Morin, who cherish the memories of their time together. His family continues to grow, and he leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forth his spirit.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doreen Merasty, whose companionship was a cornerstone of his life. Frank is also mourned by his parents, Norbert and Mary Merasty. His legacy is honored by his siblings, including brothers Edwin Merasty, George (Jake) Merasty, Joe Merasty, and August Merasty, and his sisters, Mary Roy, Alma Roy, and Josette McCallum. Frank's memory is also kept alive by his late children, Gloria Schiller and Roseanne Isbister, and two grandchildren who have joined him in rest.
Frank Merasty will be remembered for his compassionate nature, unwavering support of his family, and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who knew him. His contributions to his family and community will not be forgotten, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
