It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Genevieve Ens on November 7th, 2021, at the age of 97 years.

We take great comfort in knowing that she joins her beloved husband Carl Ens, Son Rob (Carl) Ens, parents, siblings, and countless other loved ones as she enters through the pearly gates. She is survived by her daughter Cathryn Patoskie. She also leaves five dearly loved grandchildren, Madison Ens, Tanner Ens, Amanda Gerhart, Justin Gerhart, and Zachary Gerhart, as well as so very many other special family members and friends.

At the request of Genevieve, there will be no formal funeral service. A small gravesite memorial will be held for family at the cemetery in Neuhorst.

We ask that condolences and any questions be sent through Martens Funeral Home in Warman.

If there is a desire, a donation in lieu of flowers, sent to Bethany Manor or Mennonite Central Committee, in Genevieve’s name would be a great honour to her memory.

For those attending the memorial, please be advised that proof of full vaccination and masking will be enforced by the funeral home and family. We ask for full understanding and cooperation of these wishes during this difficult time.
