George is survived by his children: Willis, Bob (Deb), Glenda (Ron), Joanne, Debra (BJoe), Laurie, Robert McCallum; his grandchildren: Angel Sanderson, Nicole Merasty, Rebecca Merasty, Janea Bichel, Eric Merasty, Jessie Wilcox, Justin Wuttunee, Tyler Bear, Brandon Bear, Dallas Bear, Joey Tootoosis, Nathan Tootoosis, Jacob Tootoosis, Adam Merasty (Mavrix), Jamie Merasty, Aleishia Merasty; his sister Eva Gladue & brother Clarence Merasty, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His loving wife, Virginia Merasty; his parents: Alphonse and Beatrice Merasty; his brothers: Martin, Peter, Herman, Gilbert and sister, Theresa and his son-in-law, Jake Tootoosis, and granddaughter, Larissa Billette.
