It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald Schwager, on March 21st, 2022, at the age of 72 years.

Left to mourn are his beloved wife, Heather; his daughter, Nadine; nephews Curtis Carpenter and Dean Carpenter, nieces Coralyn Semesock and Stacy Kowal; as well as other family members and many special friends.

Most of Gerry’s friendships came about as a result of his 36 years in the towing industry, motorcycling, his involvement in Amway, and the church. After retiring from towing, he started his own trailer moving business which they operated until 2021. Gerry loved to golf and to create metal artwork and firepits.

His battle with cancer may have ended his life on the earth but his new life with Jesus has just begun. A celebration of Gerry’s life will take place on Tuesday, March 29 at 11:00 am at Victory Church of Saskatoon (2802 Rusholme Road). For those not able to attend, the service will be livestreamed at www.youtube.com/VictorySaskatoon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Bridge on 20^th, 1008 20^th Street West, Saskatoon, SK, S7M 0Y7.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Martens Warman Funeral Home. To leave a tribute message may be left here for the family to view.
