Subscription Update Obituary

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Gladys Grace Maloney, on December 15, 2022, at the age of 92 years.

Gladys is lovingly remembered by her Children: Dianne Schneider (Kelly), Kathie Lepine (James), Patricia Thiessen (Kevin); Grandchildren: Nathan Schneider (Tara Zwozdesky), Kristen Schneider, (Cam McElwee), Matthew Nelson, Jordan Nelson, Kenton Nelson (Jayde Kahpeaysewat), Emily Gutowski (Chris), Logan Thiessen (Amy Hildebrandt), Cody Thiessen, David Schaumberger (Laura), Dianna Schaumberger, Viola Schaumberger, Brian Kocur, Kris Kocur, Kendra Kocur, Jayda McCallum; Great Grandchildren: Dante Nelson, Ayla and Ezra Gutowski, Astraea Nelbear, Benjamin and Anastasia Schaumberger, Hanna Schaumberger-Michaluck, and Kayden Day; and Great Great Grandchild: Maddison Michaluck.

Gladys is predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Henry Maloney; parents Fern and Ralph Yake; grandson Greggory Nelson; son-in-law Russell Nelson; foster daughter Dorothy Kocur; sisters Hazel Haselmire and Myrna Stevenson and brothers-in-law Alva Haselmire and Wesley Stevenson.

A Funeral Service will be held on December 22, 2022, 1:30 p.m., at Lutheran Anglican Church, 416 2nd Street West, Meadow Lake, SK. Interment to follow at the Meadow Lake Woodlawn Cemetery.
