Glen Victor Lafond

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, sibling, and friend, Glen Victor Lafond. Glen graced this world on October 31, 1953, and completed his earthly journey on August 3, 2024.

Glen was a man of great creativity, leaving his mark on the world in ways. His creative spirit touched the lives of many, and his legacy continue to inspire generations to.

In loving memory, Glen is reunited with his wife, Rhonda Lafond, who welcomed him with open arms into eternity. He now rests in peace, joining his parents, Josephine and Isadore Lafond, as well as his siblings; Lenny, Mary, Vern, Sharon, Muriel, Melvin, Baby Karen, Geraldine, and Dwayne. The heavens have gained a remarkable soul in Glen.

Leaving behind a legacy of love and strength are his children: Glen Lafond Jr., Barbara Lafond, Dawn Lafond, Joseph Daniels, and his special son, Gregory Durocher. His memory will also be cherished by his siblings: Larry Arcand, Emily McCulloch, Beverly Roy, Calvin Lafond, and Lyle Lafond. Glen held dear his adopted mother, Cecil Isaac, and his godchildren: Anita Lafleur, Danielle Arcand, and Dakota Lafond. He will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Glen's presence in the lives of his family and friends brought warmth and joy. His kind spirit and unwavering love will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his laughter and wisdom echo in our hearts as we fondly remember the beautiful life he lived.

As we mourn the loss of Glen Victor Lafond, let us take solace in the memories we shared and the love he so abundantly bestowed upon us. Rest in peace, dear Glen, your legacy will forever shine brightly in our hearts.

Glen's Funeral Service will begin Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation Gym in Muskeg, SK. Interment to follow at the Muskeg Cree Nation Cemetery.
