Henry Joseph Letourneau

December 31, 1944 — May 15, 2023

With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Henry Joseph Letourneau, on May 15, 2023, at the age of 78 years, in Saskatoon, SK.

Henry was born in Port Alberni, British Columbia, to Jim Letourneau and Angele Blais. The family moved back to Saskatchewan, where Henry grew up on a farm near Vawn, Saskatchewan.

After graduation, Henry moved to Edmonton, where he went to NAIT and became a Journeyman Electrician. He married Gertuda (Trudy) Wolfe on August 29, 1970. During the 52 years of marriage, they had two sons, Darren, and Jason.

Henry worked at Cory Potash Mine and PCS Research and Development. Later he worked under the Electrical Union, which meant travelling to different jobs and different provinces.

Henry enjoyed reading, gardening, and coffee with his friends. Henry and Trudy also belonged to the Millennium Lions Club and enjoyed the projects, which helped people that were in need.

Left to mourn, are his wife Trudy, sons Darren and Jason, sisters Lynn, Teresa (Dale), brothers Larry (Debbie) and Richard (Susan).

Henry was a quiet, sensitive person, but he also loved a good laugh. He enjoyed watching the religious programming on television. When Covid 19 occurred, it was the perfect time to watch. Two that he really enjoyed were Prophecy USA, and Dr. David Jeremiah. He loved the Lord and often I would see him pray silently. We will all miss him deeply.

The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Warman Senior Drop-In Centre, located at 422 Peters Street, Warman, SK. (www.warman.ca/238/Seniors-Services). The viewing and interment will be held between 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. The service will be at 1:00 pm, with a luncheon after the service.

Martens Warman Funeral Home is honoured to be entrusted with the care and arrangements for Mr. Letourneau.
