With heartfelt sadness, the family announces that Irene Vivian (Fisher) Regier, our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Saviour who she loved very much on May 10/2022. She is survived by her sweetheart Peter Regier, her daughters Sonia Guenther and Penney (Lynton) Fehr, sister Elli May Hollings, Stan (Linda) Fisher and Lou (Jerry) Rafuse. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Miranda Martens, Joni (Matt) Guenther, Terri (Cornie) Neufeld, Cory (Jody) Friesen, Dakota Fehr, and Tailor Fehr. As well as her great grandchildren, Brooklyn & Maddix, Haven, Jaxon, Luca, Remi, Jace, Jemma, Theo, Lakita, Letty, Willy, Aubree, Nova, and Ryder. She is predeceased by her parents Eldon and Agnus Fisher, brother Rudolph and brother Lawrence Fisher

Irene was born on May 6/1946 in Loon Lake Sk, to Eldon and Agnus Fisher. She was the second oldest out of 5 children. She spent her early childhood growing up in Pierceland Sk, and later moved to Warman Sk.

She was the best Wife, Mom and Grandma to many grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved very much, she had the biggest heart and was the sweetest person in our lives, who we are going to miss every day. Irene loved her flowers, being in nature and berry picking with her husband. She loved being with her family and cooking and always made sure we left her house with full bellies.

She had so many Bible verses but one that stands out to us that she spoke of often was Psalms 91.  Another one that she loved was 1 Peter 2:24, ” Who his own self bares our sins in his own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto the righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed”  We are so thankful for her strong faith in the Lord and even though we are going to miss her everyday while we are on this earth, we know we will see her again in Heaven.

A Funeral Service for Irene will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Martens Warman Chapel, 402 Central Street West, Warman, Sk. Arrangements entrusted to Martens Warman Funeral Home (306) 934-4888.
