Jacob "Jake" Giesbrecht

Jacob "Jake" Giesbrecht born to Helena and Jacob Giesbrecht in Tisdale, Saskatchewan on November 17, 1942. He died surrounded by family on November 3, 2024 at 14 days short of his 82nd birthday. 

Jake met Mary while attending Kelsey Institute, married and had 5 children David, Catherine, Darlene, Colleen and Beverly.

Jake is predeceased by his daughter Catherine, his mother Helena and Father Jacob, sister Elizabeth 'Betty' Friesen, brother-in-law John Friesen, brother Peter Giesbrecht and sister-in-law Evelyn Giesbrecht, brother-in-law Ernie Ives and Sister-in-Law Carol Engel.

Jake is lovingly remembered by his wife Mary Giesbrecht, son David (Rachel), daughters Darlene (John), Colleen, Beverly (Randy), grandchildren Dana (Taylor), Thomas, Laura, Anna, Regan, Jack, Katherine, Megan, Jared, Oriane, and Cadence as well as many other family members and friends.

Jake's Viewing will take place at 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024 in the Martens Warman Funeral Home, 402 Central Street W., Warman, SK. Family members invite family and friends to a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, November 8, 2024 in the Sutherland Evangelical Church. Lunch to follow after the Celebration of Life.
