It is with profound sadness that the family of Jennifer Letrud announce her sudden passing on Jan 29, 2024, at the young age of 49 years.
Jenn was born November 28, 1974, to Bonnie and Dale Letrud. She grew up in Warman, where in high school, she met her other half, Doug Berglof. The two started a family in March of 1996 with the arrival of their daughter Delaynie. In November of 1997 their family grew with the arrival of their son, Brayden. The family was complete.
Jenn was passionate about helping others; this combined with her loving, caring and compassionate soul drew her to a career in nursing. Jenn completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree in the spring of 2006; all while raising a young family. For this, she was so proud.
Jenn loved Disney, Canada's East coast and the musical brilliance of Alan Doyle. Traveling and camping with her family brought her an abundance of joy. Road trips to Kananaskis to camp, and family trips to the east coast were some of her fondest memories.
Jenn loved her family with her whole heart; they were her everything.
Hiking in Fundy National park, road tripping with her daughter to Newfoundland to see Alan Doyle, and looking for starfish and sand dollars at the beaches of New Brunswick with her kids, sister and nieces were special moments she held in her heart. Her absolute favourite memories were trips to Disney with Doug and the kids (sometimes just her and Doug).
Jenn was predeceased by her father Dale and sister Trusha.
Left to grieve this inconceivable loss are her loving spouse of 32 years, Doug; and their two children, Delaynie and Brayden; her mother, Bonnie; sister, Chantel (Darren) and nieces Hannah and Maggie; father and mother-in-laws, Jack and Shirley Berglof; brother-in-law Darren (Lindsey) and nephews Connor and Colin. Last but certainly not least, her best friend, and most special little buddy, Treyden; fur babies Ryder, Zoey, Roxy, Flynn, Elsa and Lilo.
Jenn touched, and left her mark on the lives of many; she will be missed dearly by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honour of Jenn on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024, 2:00 pm., at Warman Martens Funeral Home, 402 Central Street West, Warman, SK. Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate her beautiful and kind soul.
“There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains”
Martens Warman Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care and arrangements of Jennifer Letrud.
