With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Jeremy Joseph Ernest, at the age of 36 years, on November 12th, 2022, at Waterhen Lake, SK.

Jeremy is survived by his loving partner Vineeta Fiddler; children June Ernest, Joseph Ernest, Jerome Ernest, Jewel Ernest, Jenayah Ernest, Liam Ernest, Liah Ernest, Jyianna Ernest, Jozay Ernest, Jeromy Ernest and Jeremy Ernest Jr.; grandchildren Emma Ernest, Easton Ernest and Everly Ernest; his parents Joseph Ernest, Laurie & Calvin Opikokew; grandfather Lawrence (Papas) Harkins; grandmother Emma Ernest; brothers Joel Ernest and Tyler Opikokew; sisters Courtney Ernest, Jolene Ernest, Jalee Ernest, Jada Ernest and Jill Ernest; stepbrothers Daniel Bear and Leland Fiddler; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by his grandfather Bruno Ernest; grandmother: Mary Roller; aunt Lorna Michelle Ernes and b other Calvin Bear.

Wake Services will be held November 16-18. 2022, at the Waterhen Waweyekisik Gymnasium, Waterhen Lake First Nation, SK. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, November 18, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at the Waterhen Waweyekisik Gymnasium. Interment to follow at the Seven Hills Cemetery.
