Joel André Revet

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Joel André Revet on September 23, 2023, at the age of 25.

Born on January 14, 1998, in North Battleford, SK., to Sheldon and Shianne (Dyck) Revet, Joel soon blossomed into an inquisitive young boy who was fascinated by Mighty Machines, mini-sticks, WWE wrestlers, and Guitar Hero. He loved the lake in summer, but soon found his real passion: harvest season at the farm in Osler. By the age of 14 he was a “full-time” summer employee, earning his stripes at the wheel of a swather and later as a rookie shuttle cart operator. Despite his young age, he was quickly accepted as one of “The Crew.” As he got older, he pursued a degree in Agribusiness, found joy spending Julys at Emerald Lake with buddies, and always found time to be with family and friends.

Following an 8-week harvest at the wheel in his beloved “Big Red” pulling the grain cart, Joel’s last day was spent doing what he loved: hunting with his buddies. He will be greatly missed by his parents Sheldon and Shianne (Dyck) Revet, sisters Breanne (Brandon) Revet-Smith, and Ericka (JJ) Crowder, brothers Adam (Alyssa), Marc, and David, Grandparents John & Janice Wiebe, Don & Annie Dyck, and Marcel & Carolyn Revet, numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and countless dear friends.

A Celebration of Joel’s life will be held at St. Philip Neri Parish, 1902 Munroe Avenue S., Saskatoon, SK., on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Warman Memorial Gardens.
