It is with heartfelt sadness, that we announce the passing of John Armand Chatelaine, on April 1st, 2023, at the age of 85 years. John was born in Meadow Lake, SK., and passed away on Flying Dust First Nation, SK.
John is survived b his loving wife :Lillian Chatelaine; children Norma Lachance (Albert Lafond), Rick Chatelaine (Marla Villeneuve), Claudia Chatelaine (Wade Bell), Patsy Chatelaine (Elmer Wilson) and Jay Chatelaine; sons Shane Lachance, Jordan Lachance and Mike Chatelaine; as well as numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren.
John is predeceased by his father Louis; mother Marie Chatelaine; brothers Allan and Ray; sisters Madeline, Florence, Margaret and Marlene; grandson Bobby Allan Lachance; niece Cheryl (Art) Bird; family friend Rene Daigneault; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
Wake Services will be held Monday, April 3rd to Wednesday, April 5th, 2023, at the Flying Dust Gymnasium, Flying Dust First Nation, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023, 1;00 p.m., at the Flying Dust Gymnasium. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Meadow Lake, SK.
