John George Schlosser
May 26, 1933 – March 27, 2023

After a long-life Dad passed away peacefully in the hospital. John is survived by his children: Celeste Sipko, Maureen Rink and Terry Schlosser (Rob). Grandchildren: Candie (Alex), Garrett, Everet (Megan). Great grandchildren: Rainen, Sage and Sola.

He was a smart, hardworking, no-nonsense man. A Jack of All Trades! Growing up in Kindersley, he started his meat cutting career, which led him to teaching at Kelsey in Saskatoon. The abattoir Dad established is still in Vanscoy.

John’s prized possessions were his 29 Ford Coupe, 56 Ford Truck, and a Horseless Carriage which he built from just looking at a picture in a paper!

He will be deeply missed! We would like to thank the RUH for the wonderful care Dad was given.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Smiley’s Buffet on Sunday, May 21^st from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
