Joseph Laliberte, born on the 27th of January, 1935, departed from this world on the 5th of September, 2024. He was a remarkable individual, whose presence resonated deeply with all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was defined by his unwavering love for family and the profound connections he forged throughout his journey.
Joseph was devoted to his beloved wife, Irene (Dolly) Laliberte, who stood by his side through the tapestry of life, creating beautiful memories that will be cherished forever. Together, they nurtured a vibrant family, as he is survived by his children: Darryl, Doug, Mary Ann, Dale, Craig, Calvin, and Brenda Laliberte, as well as his sons, Jack Laliberte and Lyle. Each of his children carries forward the values he instilled in them, reflecting their father’s spirit in their own unique ways.
In addition to his immediate family, Joseph held a cherished bond with his special nieces, Ronelda McCallum and Myrtle Morin, who brought additional joy and closeness to his heart. His legacy continues to thrive through his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom he adored and who will vividly remember the warmth of his love and guidance.
Joseph’s earthly journey was not without loss, as he mourned the passing of his parents, Julien and Algina Laliberte, alongside the heartache of losing his child, Randy Morin. He also perpetuated the memory of his siblings—Tommy Laliberte, Bella Morin, Jean Bugby, Betty Laliberte, Didace Laliberte, Floyd Laliberte, Solomon Laliberte, Josephine Petit, Mary Dora Laliberte, and Gladys Laliberte—all of whom have left an indelible mark on his heart.
