Josephine Montgrand, a vibrant soul born on July 22, 1957, embarked on her final journey on August 21, 2024. She graced the world with her laughter and wisdom for 67 remarkable years, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories.
As a devoted mother, Josephine is survived by her daughter Donna (Teddy), along with son Peter (Holly), and son Donald (Morgan). Each of her children holds a piece of her heart, and her spirit can be felt in the lives of her grandchildren: Dustin, Tylie, Xander, Kylin, Halle, Ostin, and Douglas, along with her great-grandchildren Tyren, Heaven, Dru, Kasey, Kayson, Oscar, and Ozias. The joy she took in her family was immeasurable, and they will carry her memory forward.
Josephine was also blessed to share her life with her brothers: Arsene, who was married to Elenore, Ernest, Toby, who was married to Alice, and Edward. These bonds of brotherhood brought her strength and companionship throughout her life.
Josephine's journey was marked by the love she shared with her partner Stan, who preceded her, as did the father of her children, John. Her parents, Pierre-Marie and Marie, along with her siblings Pierre, Victor, Freddy, Henry, George, and Douglas, and sisters Marcelline and Ernestine. The family dynamics extended into her in-laws, Alice and Mary, who have also passed but held a special place in her heart.
With a constellation of numerous nieces and nephews, Josephine's influence is widespread, a testament to the warm spirit she brought into every relationship. The lives she touched echo with her kindness.
As we remember Josephine Montgrand, we celebrate a life lived with heart, resilience, and an enduring connection to those she loved. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but in the shared stories and laughter of family gatherings, she will forever remain a guiding light.
