Karen Dyck
April 20, 1962 — July 17, 2021
Following a lengthy battle with a severe illness, Karen Catherine Dyck of Saskatoon passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021, surrounded by her family in her home.
Karen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 32 years, George; children Austin and Alanna (David); mother Susan; siblings Ray (Loretta), Brian (Leona), Lynda (Tim), and Dennis; as well as by numerous other family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, John.
Karen was born on April 20, 1962, in Saskatoon, SK, and raised on a farm near Osler, SK. She attended Hague High School, then went on to become a Registered Nurse for the next 37 years, working at both St. Paul’s Hospital and at City Hospital in that time.
Karen loved spending time with family and friends, reading her bible and listening to music, and going on long walks. She will be remembered as a caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who had years of wisdom and a strong faith.
A funeral service will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Osler Mennonite Church (212 Second Avenue, Osler, SK).
Memorial donations may be made in Karen’s name to the Saskatoon Cancer Center (20 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK. S7N 4H4).
