Katherine Ann Dighe

April 21, 1950 — March 11, 2025

Katherine Ann Dighe (nee Nizinkiewicz) (April 21, 1950 – March 11, 2025)

Katherine, known as Kathy to most, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Kathy emigrated to Canada as a child in 1955 and soon settled in North Battleford. Kathy and her family ran the Club Café in North Battleford until it was destroyed in a fire in 1971. After getting married and moving to the United States, Kathy returned to Saskatoon to support her parents. Kathy owned her own Real Estate Company for several years, was an Account Manager, and had a brief foray as a switchboard operator. Kathy eventually found her calling as a Teacher’s Aide in Saskatoon. Kathy played the piano and the accordion and loved to sing. Kathy enjoyed cooking, was keenly interested in the latest fashion, and was a voracious reader. Kathy is predeceased by her parents Frank (1994) and Anne (1973) and is survived by her daughter Sarita (Doug) and grandsons Matthew and Aidan.

Martens Warman Funeral Home is honoured to be entrusted with Katherine Dighe's care and arrangements.
