Lawrence Cyril Chanalquay

November 1, 1935 — August 12, 2021

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Lawrence Chanalquay, from Dillon, SK, at the age of 85 years.

Lawrence is lovingly survived by his sons Jimmy (Mary) Chanalquay, Joe (Sophie) Chanalquay, Leslie Sylvestre and Daniel Chanalquay, Lawrence (Carlin) Daigneault daughters Hazel (Dwight) Chanalquay, Karen (Paul) Jewers, Tina Chanalquay, Lydia (Angus) Chanalquay, Patricia (Terrance) Chanalquay, Tammy (Leslie) Sylvestre and Chantal Sylvestre, Michelle Montgrand, Sharmaine (Junior) Chanalquay; numerous nieces and nephews, friends and family as well as “his little wife Baby Rosalyn”

Lawrence was predeceased by his wife Rosaline Chanalquay; parents Prosper Chanalquay and Helen Moise; father and mother in law; Francis and Corona Sylvestre; grandson; Jeremy Chanalquay; granddaughter Maria Sylvestre; son in law; Roger Billette; niece; Agnes Sylvestre (Felix); brother Antoine (Sophie) Chanalquay; adopted brother; Archie Billette; sisters; Cecile (Toby) Bhyette; Mary Rose (Alex) Bhyette, Adeline (Patrick) Bekkattla, Florence Francois and Jean Day.

Wake Services to be held August 16-18, 2021 at the Buffalo River Band Hall, Dillon, SK. A Traditional Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at the Daniel Sylvestre Residence, Dillon, SK with Interment to follow at the Buffalo River Cemetery, Dillon, SK.
