Lita Abdon

Lita Abdon, 62 of Saskatoon Saskatchewan passed away peacefully with family by her side on November 24, 2023 after a year long battle of end stage Lung Cancer. Daughter of Tatang Ben and Inang Regina. Daughter in law of Tatang Ino and Inang Gloria.

 

Nanay was a beloved widow of Tatay Dupax. A loving mother to Lyndon, Angie, Ruth and Moises. Daughter in law Sherri Ann. Best friend of Mylene and Michelle. Cherished Grandmother to Elbert, Earl, Elaine, TJ, Von-von, Van-van, Queen, Nico, Anika, Thirdy and Khate. A great grandmother to Aiden. Nanay will also be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, friends and all the people that closed to her heart.

 

Predeceased by her loving sisters Clara, Bheng, Fe, Eva, sister in law and brother in law.

 

Lita was born in the Philippines on March 15, 1961. Conquered all the struggles and hardship in life. From being a housewife, farmer, vegetable vendor, fish vendor and a housemaid. Move to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada in 2013 as a tourist and eventually became a permanent resident. Worked as a Day Care Assistant and a residential house cleaner. Lita was known for being down to earth, giver, kind, loving and was called "Nanay" by everyone. A great friend, best listener and giving advices in life. Her story will be forever remain in the heart of the people who dearly love her.
