Lloyd James Schmidt

Lloyd James Schmidt passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Care Home in Saskatoon at the age of 87 years. Lloyd was born on September 29, 1937 in Sonningdale, Saskatchewan. Dad spent many years working on and around the farm before moving to Saskatoon. Dad worked for Rempel Bros Construction for 37 years and was always thankful to John for giving him a job to support his family. In Saskatoon he met Mom and was happily married for 52 years before Mom’s passing in 2022. Lloyd is predeceased by his wife Sara and numerous family members. He is survived by his Son Donald, Daughter Donalyn and many extended family members. A small service will be held December 21 (contact family for details). A graveside service at Kinistino will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank all the Care Staff at St. Joseph’s Care Home, St. Paul’s Hospital and Parkridge Centre for their kindness and compassion.
