Lori Rae Seaborn

September 26, 1958 — December 31, 2024

Lori Seaborn, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on September 26, 1958, left this world on December 31, 2024. Lori’s journey through life was as colorful and unique as she was.

She attended various schools throughout her early years – though her teachers often found her too spirited to stay in one place for long, gently encouraging her to “move along.”

Lori had a generous heart and loved volunteering wherever people and places could appreciate her distinctive personality. She had a creative soul and pursued art and photography, which kept her very busy.

With no driver’s license, she knew every bus route and drivers in the city, as well as the DJ’s from all of the radio stations, as she listened to all type of music and attended all city functions that were covered by the radio stations.

She is survived by her devoted collections of approximately 75 teddy bears, her sister Valerie (Dave), nieces Carolyn (Jason) and Terry (Donnie), great nieces and nephews Chloe, Lillian, Anthony and Jonathan; brother Vincent (Marilyn), nieces and nephew Kristie (Jesse), Thomas (Michelle), great nieces Sienna and Callie; brother Todd and nephew Ethan.

True to Lori’s practical sense of humor and dislike of cold weather, there will be no immediate service. A celebration of her life will be held in the summer when the weather is kinder and all who wish to honor her can gather comfortably.

Lori’s indomitable spirit, wit, and creatively will be missed by those who knew her – and perhaps even by a few school administrators from long ago.

Martens Warman Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care and arrangements for Lori Seaborn.
