It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Lorna Lafond, known to us as “Biggirl”. Lorna will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving daughter Jessica Lafond, her siblings Marilyn, Leta (Doug), Calvin (Patsy), Brian, Earl (Cheryl), Dwayne, Linda and Brenda (Albert).
Lorna was very proud of her grandchildren Katrina, Jacy, Tianna, Miami, Calan, Zach, Reshaun and her great-grandchildren Jeremiah and Sam. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Lorna was predeceased by her common-law partner James Gardiner, parents Willie and Annette Lafond, children Jennifer and Jamie, grandchildren Riley, Jayden and William, siblings Bernard, Michael, Berniece and Shirley, as well as her grandparents.
Wake services will be held on Tuesday April 20th, 2021 from 11:00 – 1:00 with Funeral Services to commence at 1:00 p.m. at Cherished Memories in Martensville, SK.

Honorary Pallbearers are Manley Bishop, Jackie Lafond, Barb Oulette, Betty Anne Laliberte, Earl Lafond, Gordon Lafond (Dubue), All of those who knew and loved her and her very special Aunt Yvonne “Bunny” Lafond.
