With profound sadness, we announce that Louise Heichman went to be with her Lord and Saviour on December 1, 2022, at the age of 86.
She was born on December 16,1935, to John and Elsie (Dick) Reimer in Newton, Kansas, and grew up on a farm near Whitewater Kansas with four brothers. Louise moved to Canada in 1949 and lived in the Watrous area. She married Harvey Heichman on October 8,1966, and they farmed together in the Perdue area for many years.
Louise is survived by her son Harold (grandson Elijah) Heichman; daughter Anita (granddaughters Mikaela, Serena, Brianna, Kierra) Millan; brothers Roland Reimer; Harold (Shirley) Reimer; sisters in law Lillian Heichman and Sharon Heichman, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by husband Harvey; son Oscar at birth; parents, John and Elsie Reimer, brothers John and Ray Reimer; inlaws John and Annie Heichman and brothers in law Walter and Ron Heichman; a child in infancy; and four grandchildren in infancy.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tribal Trails – Northern Canada Evangelical Mission (NCEM).
A Funeral service will be held at West Portal Church, 3134-33rd Street West Saskatoon, on Friday December 9 at 11:00 am. Livestream will be viewable at https://boxcast.tv/view/december-9-2022-ilfv9w74v5htdebhwrmf
